(The following from the Marshalltown Times Republican of Sept. 1st concerns Robert K. Stuart, well known in Pella).

Memorial services for Robert Kincade Stuart, 79, who died Aug. 20 at Hillsborough, Calif., were at 2 p.m. Friday, August 31st, at the chapel of the Pursel Oavis Funeral Home with the Rev. Kirby Webster in charge. Private burial services were Saturday morning in Riverside Cemetery.

Attending from out of the state were Mrs. R. K. Stuart of Hillsborough, Miss E. Grace Kimberly of Cocoa Beach, Fla., and Miss Edna Barber of Bramford, Ontario, Canada.

Mr. Stuart, formerly of Evanston, Ill., was a prominent Chicago attorney. He received his doctorate in law from the University of Minnesota and was licensed to practice before the Supreme Court.

He was a member of the Masonic lodge, Knights Templar, Order of the Mystic Shrine, the Commonwealth Club of California. the New York Chamber of Commerce, Union League Club of Chicago, the American, Chicago and the San Francisco Bar associations and was at one time director of the North Western Railroad.
