Kimberly - Ernest Dilworth, 78, died Tuesday, June 1, 1965, of a sudden illness while visiting his daughter, Mrs. Lynn Tyler, in bountiful, Utah.
Mr. Dilworth was born at Orem, Utah, Dec. 21, 1886, to Joseph Dilworth and Emily Sophia Gibbons Dilworth. He lived in Orem until 1905 when he moved to Carey, Idaho, where he was engaged in farming and sheep raising.
He married May Simpson at Hailey, Idaho, Jan. 12,1910. She died Jan 20, 1951. Mr. Dilworth married Myrtle Short March 27, 1952, and moved to Paul, Idaho in 1953.
He retired and moved to Salt Lake City, where he lived until 1956 when he moved back to Kimberly, Idaho. Mr. Dilworth was a member of the Kimberly LDS Church and the High Priests' Quorum.
Besides his widow, Mr. Dilworth is survived by three sons, Asael E. Dilworth, Hansen, Idaho; Don E. Dilworth, Lucerne Valley, California, and Arlen S. Dilworth, Pocatello, Idaho; three daughters, Mrs. Clive (Rena) Cooper, Salt Lake City, Utah; Mrs. Myron (Ila) Stoddard, Boise, Idaho, and Mrs. Lynn (Lorraine)Tyler, Bountiful, Utah; two brothers, Joseph G. Dilworth, Carey, Idaho, and William F. Dilworth, Boise, Idaho; two sisters, Mrs. Lawrence (Sarah) Wilde, Jerome, Idaho and Mrs. Ethel Kirkland, Salt Lake City, Utah; 23 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday by Bishop Edwin Crockett in the Kimberly LDS Church. Concluding services will be held at Cloverdale Memorial Park, Boise, at 4 p.m. Friday. Friends may call at the White Mortuary in Twin Falls, Thursday and Friday until 10 a.m.
