Michael Christopher Slater, Jr., passed away April 30, 2013. Celebration Services for Mr. Michael Christopher Slater, Jr., will be held on Friday May 3, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. from the Benson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Roger Murdock, Mr. Jason Smith and Rev. C. L. Wilkes officiating. Interment will follow in the Sunrise Memorial Garden Cemetery in Lithia Springs, Ga.
Mr. Slater was born in Chicago, Illinois and grew up in Tampa, Florida. He graduated from Hillsborough High School in Tampa, FL. Mike retired from General Motors as a manager. Mike loved to travel and play golf. He was a wonderful man who loved his Lord Jesus Christ with all his heart.
