Willie Gordon Parrish Sr., 82, of Scottsville, Virginia, died on Tuesday, April 30, 2013. Son of Jordan and Alice Thompson Parrish.
He was also preceded in death by two sisters, Virginia Brown and Helen Anderson.
He is survived by four sons, Gordon Washington, Willie G. Parrish Jr., Floyd Parrish and Vonzell Parrish; six daughters, Ronda Enoch, Constance Ross, Othella Bates, Genetta Washington, Teresa Parrish and Nicole Agee; three sisters, Virgie Porter, Shirley Morris and Polly Vaughn; one brother, Jordan Parrish; 24 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
A funeral service was conducted at New Fork Baptist Church, Palmyra, Virginia. Family and friends called at Colbert Funeral Home.
