Timothy Pat Flynn passed away April 30, 2013 at the Atrium in Corinth, Texas after a lengthy illness.
He was born on November 20, 1948 to Elma Curlin Flynn and Pat Holman Flynn in Amarillo, Texas. He graduated in 1967 from Amarillo HS and attended Austin College in Sherman, Texas.
He is survived by his wife of 27 years, Berianne Flynn, daughter Andrea Talkington and husband Steve, son Charlie Baxter, and brother Terry Kelly Flynn. He is also survived by seven grandchildren who called him Poppy; Meghan Swift and Mollie Swift Sawyer; Hannah, Charlie and Caroline Talkington; Carley and Trace Baxter, and two great-grandchildren, Aiden and Ryan Sawyer. He was preceded in death by his parents and older brother, Seth Curlin.
Tim started working for McDonalds in 1973, and advanced to Operations Manager in his 33 years with the company. He mentored many young people along the way in the organization to become managers and supervisors. He loved and cared about everyone and always put their needs before his own.
Tim was a huge sports fanhe especially loved the Dallas Cowboys, Texas Rangers, and the Boston Celtics. He was also an avid bowler and bowled in many leagues over the years. He was a voracious reader and loved computer gaming.
He was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association; and Life Master in the American Contract Bridge League.
A celebration of Tim's life will be held on May 19, 2013 at the Meritt Bois D' Arc Buffalo Valley Ranch on Ganzer Road in Denton from 2-6 pm to share memories of Tim and his family.
