Mrs. Collins, Verona, Dies - Verona - Mrs. Frank Collins, 85, Main St., died Monday at the Oneida Nursing Home after an illness of several months.
The former Sarah E. Jones, she was born March 25, 1885 [sic] (1884), in Ridge Mills, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gerard Jones and had lived in the Verona area for many years. Her husband died in 1939.
Mrs. Collins was of the Methodist faith.
Surviving are a son, Francis 0., Verona: a daughter, Mrs. Emerson (Ada) Burley, Sylvan Beach: a sister, Mrs. Ada Lambert, Syracuse, and a grandson. Emerson Burley Jr., Canastota.
The funeral will be at 2 Thursday at the Campbell-Dean Funeral Home. Oneida, with the Rev. Robert H. Jones officiating. Burial will be in Rathbunville Cemetery in the spring.
