Miss Bockius Rites in McKeesport PA
Funeral services for Miss Amanda Frances Bockius, 79, who died Monday in Atlantic City N.J., where she had been residing for the past 2 years with her sister and brother will be held on Friday in McKeesport PA. The requiem mass will be held at 9 am in St. Mary's German RC church on Friday in McKeesport and the body is expected to arrive at the Volk-Jayenx Funeral Home late Wednesday and friends will be received at the funeral home all day on Thursday. Interment will follow the requiem mass Friday at St. Mary's German Church cemetery. Miss Bockius was born in New Castle on May 24, 1880 and spent most of her life as a resident here. She leaves a brother John Bockius, Princeton Road, another brother Mont Bockius and a sister, Mrs. Sara Conlin, Atlantic City N.J., and nieces and nephews.
