LYNCH, Patrick R. of Munger, MI. Patrick R. Lynch, age 88 years, died Thursday, September 22, 2011, at Bay Medical Care Facility. He was born on April 2, 1923 in Bay County to the late T. Louis and Mary E. (Beaushaw) Lynch. Pat was employed with Gollin Block Company for 30 years. He was married to the former Dolores Hellebuyck on December 15, 1945. She died on February 29, 2008. Pat was a member of St. Norbert Church. He was the janitor at St. Norbert Church for many years and was a former constable of Merritt Township for over 50 years.

Surviving are three daughters: Susan (special friend, Gene VanDriessche) Gwizdala, Judy (Frank) Musielak and Lori (Don) Smrecak; eight grandchildren: Wendy, Kevin and Kris Gwizdala, John, and Corey Musielak, Mandi (Jeremy) Cleary, Trisha and Katie Smrecak; five great grandchildren and a brother, Larry Lynch. Besides his wife and parents, Pat was preceded in death by two sons, John and Ray.

Pat's family would like to extend a special thank you to the staf of Bay Medical Care Facility and especially to Dana and Joey for the excellent care given to their dad.

The Funeral Liturgy will be celebrated Monday, September 26, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. in St. Norbert Church (Munger). Pat will lie in state in church on Monday from 9:0 a.m. until the time of service. Rev. Joseph Schabel will preside, with military honors by the Bay County Veterans Council and private interment will be in St. Patrick Cemetery. Memorials may be directed to "Family Wishes". Visiting hours are Sunday from 2:00 to 8:0 p.m. with Vigil for the Deceased at 4:30 p.m. in W. A. Trahan Funeral Chapel. For online condolences www.trahanfc.com
