Mr. Broaddus, 76, a farmer of Bagby, died at Johnston-Willis Hospital after a long illness. He married Lillie Douglas Upshaw in 1891. He was survived by four sons and 12 grandchildren. His funeral services were to have been held Saturday, Jun. 11, 1938 from Salem Baptist Church, Sparta.
