Johnny was born to Norris L. and Violet Nell (Foley) Dabney in Fairfield, Texas on January 21, 1960. Johnny was an employee of Cen-Tex Maintenance Department. He served as a reserve police officer in Mexia. Johnny loved to hunt deer, wild hogs and fishing. Johnny enjoyed spending countless hours teaching children to fish. He was a very devoted husband and father.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Johnny is survived by his wife, Ann (Richmond) Dabney of Mexia; sons, John and wife, Cassie Dabney and Jacob Dabney all of Mexia; brothers, Norris Dabney and wife, Dixie, Robin Dabney and wife, Kim, Jerry Dabney and wife Becky, and Wesley Dabney and wife, Rosa all of Mexia; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Bennie Murphy, Gary Isbell, Lewis Isbell, Kelly Isbell, Randy Mitchell and Danny Finley.
