We bid farewell to our Dad, Victor Rimbey, who passed away peacefully at the age of 95 at the Sutherland Hills Nursing Home in Kelowna, B.C. Vic was predeceased by his wife Georgia in 1968 as well as all of his siblings.

Vic was the seventh son of Mary Jane (Molly) and Samuel Rimbey and was born at the family home in Rimbey, Alberta. He was raised on the family farm just on the outskirts of town along with his 3 brothers: Chester, Leroy and Leslie and 3 sisters, Retha, Marie and Alice. Vic took a correspondence course in Diesel and Gas Maintenance Engineering through National Schools in Los Angeles, California and upon completion of the course travelled to Los Angeles for his practicum.
