Willard was a veteran of World War II. He served with the 280th Combat Engineers in Europe and was involved in the Battle of the Rhine, Battle of the Bulge and other conflicts.
A graduate of Snow College, Willard went on to spend 50 years as a district manager for Newspaper Agency Corporation. He was active in the LDS Church serving in various positions, including Care Center Branch presidency, and the presidency of the 70's. He served in the Florida Tallahassee Mission with his wife from 1990-1992. He was also a member of the Richfield Lion's Club.
Survived by his children: Byron (Sandy) Puzey, Boise, ID; Vickie (William) LeMmon, Richfield; Jimmie (Jeannie) Puzey, Springville; Georgiana Craig, Richfield; 19 grandchildren, 57 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Also preceded in death by his parents; siblings: Ila Peterson, Dorothy Greenhalgh, Fern Puzey, Ira Wilson, Alberta Christensen, Charles Puzey, LeGrand Puzey, Beth Foce, Nad Puzey.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. in the Richfield 6th Ward Chapel, 200 East Center. Friends may call Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m. at the Magleby Mortuary and Thursday at the ward chapel from 9:30 - 10:30 a.m. Burial will be in the Spring City Cemetery at 3:00 p.m. with military rites.
