The body was taken to Kerrigan Funeral home and will be removed to the Harry Hoffman residence, 422 S. Kickapoo st., Thursday afternoon. The funeral will be at 9 am Saturday from St. Patrick's church with Msgr. William P. White officiating.
Mrs. Coogan was born in Lincoln, Dec. 10, 1876, the daughter of James H. and Mary Rourke Hickey. She married William D. Coogan in this city, July 5, 1906, and he died in September of 1939. Survivors are a daughter, Miss Dorothy Coogan of Evanston; a brother, John H. Hickey of New Holland; three sisters, Mrs. Mary Brosamer, Mrs. Hoffman, and Mrs. A.C. Wacaser of Lincoln. A son William J. Coogan died in service in 1945. Three brothers and a sister are deceased.
Mrs. Coogan was a member daughters of Isabella. She was a teacher in Lincoln and other Logan county schools for many years.
