HAWARDEN, Iowa - Myren Lynn Anderson, 67, died Thursday, March 30, 2000, at the North Hills Hospital in North Richland Hills, Texas.

He was born Feb. 2, 1933, in Beresford. He attended the Star rural school and grew up in the area.

He married Beverley on Dec. 27, 1951, in rural Beresford. The couple farmed in the Alcester, Akron and Beresford areas until 1971, when they moved to Beresford. He worked in construction, as a heavy equipment operator. He moved to Hawarden, Iowa, in 1975, and spent his winters in Hurst, Texas. He also worked in construction in Texas.

He was a past member of the Roseni Lutheran Church in rural Beresford and a member of St. Andrews Lutheran Church in Hurst.

Survivors include his wife, three daughters, six grandchildren, and two brothers.

Services begin at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Roseni Lutheran Church in rural Beresford with burial in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Alcester.

Visitation will be 2 to 8 p.m. today at the Wass Funeral Home in Alcester with the family present from 7 to 8 p.m. Carol Bosworth Midwest.
