Shirley was born Sunday, March 30, 1941 in Rural Pine Creek, Missouri; she was the daughter of the late William Henry Roberts and the late Gladys Etta Scribner Roberts. She married Stanley L. Williams on September 20, 1962 in Fargo, TX. She had lived in Vernon since 1954. She was a member of Vernon TOPS Club and a faithful WMU Worker; she was a member of Lockett Baptist Church.
