Archie Delane VonCannon, 65, was a son of Minnie Belle Mauney VonCannon and the late Albert Columbus VonCannon.
Archie was a graduate of Kings Business College in Charlotte, NC and served his country in the US Army during the Vietnam War. For most of his career, Archie worked in Industrial Tool sales. He was most recently with Air Power, Inc. A few years ago he received his CDL to begin work as a truck driver; something he had always wanted to do. He was employed by Truck Service, Inc. in Forest City, NC. Archie lived his life with integrity and when he said he would do something, one could depend on him to do it. He had a great sense of humor, never met a stranger, enjoyed working in his yard with his flowers, and was a proud father of his sons' accomplishments. He was a loving husband, father, and devoted grandfather.
Interment in Gaston Memorial Park with Military Rites provided by the Gaston County Honor Guard.
