Leonard Charles Abbadusky, 58, of 831 S. Main Street, Monmouth, died at 3:25 yesterday afternoon in Monmouth Hospital, after a long illness.

He was born on October 29, 1902, in Fairview, Illinois, the son of Charles Abbadusky and Lulu B. Hipple.

Most of his childhood was spent in Monmouth. Leonard and Marguerite Beulah Hall were married on July 26, 1921, in Burlington, Iowa. They resided in Monmouth their entire married life. He was employed as a lineman for the Illinois Power Company for 18 years and operated a restaurant at 933 S. Main Street from 1942 to 1959. He was a member of the West Side Church and a hunting club In Dallas City, Illinois.

Surviving is his widow; a son, Forrest Edward Abbadusky, of Monmouth; a grandson; two sisters, Mrs. Ada Belle Kinkaid, of Oquawka, and Mrs. Hazel Irene Catton, of Monmouth, and four brothers, Lester E., of New York City, and Forrest D., Marion Russell, and Herbert Owen Abbadusky, all of Monmouth.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow afternoon in the Turnbull Funeral Home, Monmouth. The Rev. William Butler, pastor of the West Side United Presbyterian Church, will officiate, with burial in Monmouth Cemetery.

The family will be at the funeral home from 7:30 to 8:30 tonight.
