Diana M. Cox, 63, died Monday, April 29, 2013, at her home in Mineral. She was born Oct. 24, 1948, in Herkimer, N.Y., to the late Jerome and Ruth Oviatte Stanley. Diana was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers, Thomas and James Stanley. Survivors include her husband, Sam Cox of Mineral; daughter, Brenda Shupe of Atkins; son, Michael Crim and wife, Samantha, of Sidney, Ky.; sisters and brothers, Carolyn Graves, Ruth Scheff, Sharon Davies, Jerome Stanley, Dorothea Stanley, Steven Stanley, Robin Janitz, Kenneth Stanley, Lillin Fazakas, Lewis Stanley, Kim Moran, Terry Stanley, Arthur Stanley, Jamie Stanley, Melissa Holton and Tammy Stanley; several grandchildren; great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted Friday, May 3, at 11 a.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel with the Rev. Mike Sage officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends Thursday from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Seaver-Brown Chapel. Expressions of sympathy may be made to the family at www.seaverbrown.com.
