Mrs. McNeil Died On Last Tuesday
Mrs. Elizabeth McNeil Dies In Waseca Memorial Hospital
A host of friends in this community were shocked when they learned that Mrs. Elizabeth McNeil had died at the hospital 9:40 Tuesday morning. Her death was due to infection of the bowels and she had been seriously ill only three days.
Elizabeth Grant was the only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Grant of this city, and her entire life time was spent here. She was born on August 13, 1901. After leaving school she entered the office of the register of deeds in the court house and assisted her father there for several years. She proved herself exceptionally capable in this work and made many friends throughout the county.
On May 2, 1921, she was married to Earl McNeil. Four children were born to his union, all of whom survive her. They are Ruth, Earl, Edna and Charles. She is also survived by her parents and two brothers, Ralph and Donald Grant.
The funeral will take place Friday afternoon, at two o'clock with services at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Grant, on North State street. Rev. H. F. Soelner of St. Paul's Lutheran church will officiate and burial will be made in Woodville cemetery.
