Our beloved Wife, Daughter, Mother and Grandmother passed from this life on April 13, 2013.

Desiree was born in Rochester, New York on October 22, 1957 to Dorothy (Dottie) J. Bruce and Royce A. Likness. She was a graduate of North High School in Sioux City, Iowa and attended University of Iowa at Iowa City. She and her husband, Mike, raised two sons and two daughters and loved attending all of their school and college activities. Desiree worked at Dean Witter of Dallas for several years and then was hired by the Allen Independent School District from which she retired earlier this year.

Desiree was a pillar of strength and love and was an inspiration to all that loved her. Her family will fondly remember the many vacations and holidays spent together. She cherished her immediate family and dearly loved her extended family. She enjoyed working and loved interacting with faculty and students of Allen ISD.

She is survived by her husband Mike, daughters Whitney and Auburn, sons Cozmoe and Austin, and her granddaughter Autumn Dyer. She is also survived by her mother Dorothy Bruce of Conroe, TX and father Royce Likness of Westminster, CO and her dearly loved father-in-law and mother-in-law Jack and Jeannene Dyer of Gainesville, TX.

Services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Friday, April 19, 2013, at Turrentine- Jackson-Morrow Chapel, located on Highway 75, Exit 38A, Ridgeview Dr. Allen, TX, 75013, 972-562-2601.
