Tim, 51, of Louisville, Kentucky entered into rest on Monday, April 29, 2013 as a result of an airline accident in Afghanistan where he was assisting with the transfer of military items.
He was an aircraft mechanic for National Airlines. Mr. Garrett was a fan of all sports especially when the Cards were playing. He was active with outdoors sports and motorcycle riding, but his priority most of all was spending time with his girls. He was a member of the masonic lodge.
He is survived by his two daughters, Tiana Leigh Garrett and Isabella Kay Garrett; his mother, Janice Watts; and two half-brothers, L.T. and Joe Garrett.
Mr. Garrett's funeral service was at 1 p.m. on Monday at the Arch L. Heady Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 8519 Preston Highway, with interment following in Highland Memory Gardens. Visitation was held 2 p.m. - 8 p.m. on Sunday. Published in The Courier-Journal from May 10 to May 11, 2013.
