Musician. He was a piano player best known for being a member of country artist Jim Reeves' band. In the 1950s, he joined Reeves' group The Blue Boys, as not only a player but as his business partner and manager. He was an entrical part of Reeves' success until they both were killed in an air accident when their private plane encountered a violent thunderstorm and crashed near Brentwood, Tennessee.
