Born in Nebraska in 1930, at a young age she moved to Fort Klamath. On the move out West, she was very fearful of crossing the Rocky Mountains; this was the first time she had ever seen mountains.
Once her mother remarried, Wilma moved to Klamath Falls. She graduated from Klamath Union High School in 1950.
Fourteen years later, she married Donald Gray. As a young woman, she loved to dance and was always a lively person. She had several jobs before she married Donald Gray, such as working at the Klamath local Drug Store on Main Street and Klamath First Federal Bank.
She raised two sons and was a housewife for many years. When she decided to return to work, she worked as a cook for the Klamath County School District for more than 20 years and retired, missing the children greatly as she was Grandma to everyone.
She leaves behind her sons and daughters-in law David and Kris Gray and Bert and Rosemary Gray and seven grandchildren, Zia Fukuda, Trevor Gray, Heather Debaca, Tony Debaca, Brandy Carl, Maria Gray and Dalton Gray.
She was preceded in death by her husband Donald Gray and brothers Harold and Elmon Rieck.
