Ernestine Thompson Age 79 , passed away Monday, April 29, 2013 at the Cumberland River Medical Center in Celina, Tennessee.
Ernestine Daniels was born May 18, 1933 to the late Arlie C. & Ruby Lee (Stephens) Daniels. Ernestine married the late Joe C. Thompson.
Ernestine was a factory worker in Celina for many years at Osh Gosh B'Kosh and member of the Rock Springs Church of Christ.
She was preceded in death by her sister Ola Katherine Grogan, infant sister Annie Olyne Daniels and a baby brother.
She is survived by a special friend and cousin, Madie Cooper of Celina, TN. She is also survived by a host of family, friends, and her church family.
Funeral Services will be held 2:00 p.m., Thursday, May 2, 2013 at Upton Funeral Home with Jeff Greene officiating with interment to follow in the Williams Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be from 1:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. Wednesday and 8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Upton Funeral Home.
Paul Daniels, Remus Watson, Nathan Sherrill, Cecil Hogan, Freddie Boles, and Al Daniels served as pallbearers.
