Carlos Everett Lewis, age 68, passed away after a long illness with cancer on Monday, April 29, 2013, at the Maury Regional Hospital, Columbia, TN.
He was born in Palmer, Tennessee on October 31, 1944, retired from AT & T, served in the US Air Force, his parents were the late George Herbert and Della Brown Lewis, preceded in death by step mother, Flora Lewis, sisters ,Odell Minton and Louise Miller, brother, Charles E. Lewis.
Visitation will be on Wednesday from 6PM to8PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Thursday, 5-2-2013, at 1PM at the Carr & Erwin Funeral Home with burial in Giles Memory Garden.
Survivors are: wife, Deborah Kirkendoll Lewis of Pulaski, TN, daughter, Melissa Lewis Carden and husband Joshua of Pulaski, TN, sisters, Margaret Lewis Pirtle and husband Jimmy of Tracy City, TN, Betty Lewis Stevens and husband Carl of Dunnellon, FL, 2 step sisters, Bonnie Caldwell and husband Herbert of Coalmont, TN, Carol Linda Layne and husband Gilbert of Soddy Daisy, TN, grandchildren, Jonathan Simmons, Jocelyn and Lillian Carden.
