Dale was a huge NASCAR fan. He loved football too, especially the Oakland Raiders. He had a love of horses and had a very accomplished equestrian career as a younger man, winning State of California championships five times in western pleasure. But Dale's biggest passion was his grandson's outlaw cage cart racing.
He married Ramona (Brazzeal) on June 7, 1997 in Gold Hill, Oregon. Ramona survives, as well as daughters Gabrielle Arnold of Albany and Emily Foster of Yoncalla; son Bartley Dale "Bart" Foster III of Medford; mother Patricia Foster of Medford; sisters Susan Huson and Shelly Lubbers of Medford; grandson Bartley Dale Foster IV; niece Tiara Molina; and great niece Payton Molina. He was preceded in death by his father, Dale Bartley Foster, Sr.
