Nancy Leighty, 71 died at St. Anthony Hospital where she had been a patient for the past 16 months. She moved with her parents to Reno County in 1900. She married Clyde Leighty on Oct. 11, 1911. They farmed south of Hutchinson for four years then moved to a farm southwest of Dodge City in the West Hopewell community since 1915. She is survived by four daughters; Vivian Staples of Walla- Walla, Wash, Eulelia Bell of Eugene,Ore, Clydene Harms of Jetmore and Dorothy Maskus of Kansas City, Mo; three sisters, Maude Van Hooven and Nellie Anspach both of Hutchinson and Bertha Harrison of Wichita; and 11 grandchildren.
