Born on December 20, 1952 in East Stroudsburg, he was the son of Norma (Jennings) Snow of Delaware Water Gap and the late William Snow who died in 1989. Having lived in Delaware Water Gap all of his life, he was a 1970 graduate of Stroudsburg High School and worked as a chemical operator at Vertellus (formerly Heico) in Delaware Water Gap for 40 years.
He enjoyed watching Jeopardy and Wheel of Fortune on television with his mother. His favorite NASCAR racer was Jimmy Johnson and he was a sports fan of the Philadelphia Eagles and Philadelphia Phillies.
Ricky was the Chief of the Delaware Water Gap Fire Department for over ten years and was a member of the Monroe County Firemens Association and the Four County Firemens Association.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by two brothers, Randy Snow and his companion, Carol Penna of Delaware Water Gap and Tim Snow of Delaware Water Gap; two sisters, Brenda Snow DeLong and her husband, Harry of Kinsman, OH and Tammy Snow Cornelius and her husband, James of Delaware Water Gap; a brother-in-law, William Dowling of Easton; nieces and nephews, Billy Dowling, Robert Dowling, Buffy Allen, Becky Mullikin, and Casey Cornelius; his beloved dog, "Bo"; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by a sister, Judy Dowling.
