Clara Allyse Reese 17 January 1932 - 26 April 2013
Born on Solitaire Plantation in Glen Allan, Mississippi, Allyse was the daughter of the late Clara Williams Touchberry and the late Henry Turner.
She attended All Saints Episcopal School in Vicksburg, Mississippi and St. Mary's Episcopal School in Memphis, Tennessee. She was a member of St. Mark's Church.
Allyse is preceded in death by her husband, Roger Reese and her beloved son, Marty Rutherford.
Survivors include her son Rick Reese and his wife, Michelle; daughter, Lisa Wolf and her husband, Jim; and Beverly Kohler. She also leaves five granddaughters, Stephanie Martindale, Allyse Gregory, Evelyn Spencer, Jamie Anderson and Hallie McCracken; and grandson, Paul Kohler. Surviving her also, nine great-grandchildren, Geoffrey Gregory, Seth Spencer, Caleb Gregory, Ava Allyse Anderson, Cameron McCracken, Lily Martindale, Lorna Herff, Jackson Reid and Lucas James Anderson; and her precious puppy dog, Second Chance.
A gathering of Mrs. Reese's family and friends will be from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at Broussard's, 2000 McFaddin Avenue, Beaumont. Her funeral service will be 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at St. Mark's Episcopal Church, 680 Calder Avenue, in Beaumont, with interment to follow at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont.
