MOTHER DIED TODAY
MRS. ELIZABETH NOELTNER PASSES AWAY THIS MORNING
Death Comes Three Years After Moving Into Home

After an illness covering a year, Mrs. Elizabeth Noeltner, wife of Joseph Noeltner, died this morning at the family residence in Noeltner Addition. The end came at 2:15 o'clock, members of the family being at the bedside. Mrs. Noeltner had been confined to her bed the past four weeks
Just three years ago today the family moved into their new residence and two years later a malignant growth which caused the death, attacked her. A sister, Mrs. Mary Hellrung, of Dewey Addition, is in a critical condition and will be unable to attend the funeral.
Mrs. Noeltner was the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Bernhard Bange, former well known residents of Hamel Township. The date of her birth was December 28, 1865 and she was 51 years and 9 months old at the time of her death.
As a girl she attended St. Boniface Catholic School and afterwards lived with her parents.
The date of her marriage was October 18, 1898 and the married life of them had been a most happy one. Besides the husband, two children born to the union survive. They are Albert and Joseph. There are also two brothers, Henry and Benjamin Bange.
Mrs. Noeltner was a member of St. Boniface Catholic Church and took an active part in its work until her last illness came on.
She had many friends in Edwardsville and vicinity who join with the family in their hour of bereavement. The funeral will be held Monday morning at 9 o'clock from St. Boniface Catholic Church with services by Rev. Jos. Metzler. Burial will be St. Boniface German Catholic Cemetery.
