Brenda Churchwell, 42, Bossier City, La., a former resident of Broken Bow, died of cancer Monday in Shupert Medical Center, Shreveport.
Mrs. Churchwell, a schoolteacher, was born at Pickens and was a 1962 graduate of Broken Bow High School. She married John Churchwell and the couple moved to Bossier City in 1963, after he joined the Air Force.
Both pursued their education and earned degrees in the ensuing years. She was a graduate of Louisiana State University.
Mrs. Churchwell was a member of the Bellview Baptist Church in Bossier City.
Services will be in the Bellview Baptist Church in Bossier City at 10 a.m. Wednesday, with graveside services at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday at Crown Hill Cemetery in Broken Bow.
