Obituary from the Montgomery Advertiser - May 7, 1952

RYALS, William C., 29, a native of Panola Community, died at his home at Eglin Field, Fla. at 10:30 p.m. Sunday. Surviving are the widow, Mrs. Louise Perdue Ryals; a son, William C. Ryals Jr.; a daughter, Miss Karen Ryals, all of Eglin Field; parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. J. Ryals, Lapine; two brothers, Willard Ryals and A. J. Ryals Jr., both of Montgomery; two sisters, Mrs. Bernice Bodiford and Mrs. Moneree Croxton, both of Montgomery. The funeral will be held at Panola Methodist Church today at 2 p.m. with the Rev. O. C. Hollon, Rev. M. L. Heaton and Chaplain John T. Evans officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery with full military honors. Pallbearers will be the 3807th Transport Squadron of Maxwell Air Force Base. White Chapel directing.
