Emil Boettcher, 78, of 360 S. Parklawn Dr., died Monday after being stricken with a heart attack while on his way to church. He was born in Milwaukee Feb. 1, 1888. He is survived by a son, Harold of Brookfield; brother William of Kenosha. Services will be Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Erling Larson Funeral home, the Rev. Marvin Volkmann of Grace Lutheran church officiating. Burial will be in Oak Ridge cemetery in Eagle.
Boettcher was employed by the Wisconsin Telephone Co. for over 40 years. He was a member of the company's Pioneer Club. His wife Henrietta died Oct. 6, 1966. Friends may call at the funeral home after 4 p.m. Wednesday.
