Elizabeth was the daughter of George Thomason, known for his collection of Civil War pamphlets, known as "The Thomason Tracts", housed in the British Museum Library, and Katherine Hutton Thomason. Elizabeth predeceased her father, who died in 1666.

Elizabeth's funeral service was conducted by Edward Reynolds,D.D., Vicar of St. Lawrence, Jewry.

Notice of Elizabeth's funeral is included in her father's "The Thomason Tracts", under the date April 11, 1659. ............"Mary Magdalens Love to Christ, opened in a sermon preached at the
Funeral of Mistris Elizabeth Thomason. By Edw. Reynolds [With MS Elegies appended.]"

(Note: I have indicated Elizabeth's date of death as April 11, 1659....Her funeral was on that date,
so her actual date of death would have been prior to the 11th by a day or two.)

Elizabeth's father George Thomason II died seven years later.
Elizabeth's age is unknown. She was unmarried.
