SPC Elliott Rafael Davis, 23, an Atlanta native stationed at Ft. Hood, Texas passed away Sunday, April 21, 2013.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11 am on Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at the Sosebee Memorial Chapel with Lee Allphin and Bishop Kevin Allphin officiating. Interment will follow in the Georgia National Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 6 pm to 9 pm at the funeral home.

SPC Davis also known as "DeDe" dedicated his life to the United States Army. He was a veteran of the Iraq War and had reenlisted to continue serving the country he loved. He was a hard worker, who put others ahead of himself. He was an accomplished home builder who had helped to build several of his families' homes. He enjoyed driving his RX-8,(which we named "Natasha"), wakeboarding and tubing on the lake. He was very humorous, loving, helpful and a giving person, A true "Hero" and his mother's "Angel Face".

Survivors include his parents, Silvia and Brian; sisters, Anna Marie (Will) and Tiffany Elena; grandmothers, Catherine and Alicia; nieces, Charlotte and Isabelle; a host of special family and friends.
