Lydia W. Nolt Zimmerman, 80,
a resident of 7714 Triple Farm Drive, Bridgewater, died July 6, 2000,
at her home following an illness of
two years and four months.
Mrs. Zimmerman was born
June 23,1920, in New Holland, Pa.
and was the daughter of the late
Levi and Lydia Weaver Nolt.
She was a homemaker and a
member of the Old Order Mennonite Church.
On Dec. 19, 1939, she married
John S. Zimmerman, who survives.
Also surviving are five sons,
Harvey N., Allen N. and John N.
Zimmerman, all of Dayton; Joseph
N. and David N. Zimmerman, both
of Bridgewater; Walter N. Zimmerman, Harrisonburg; seven daughters, Elizabeth N. Zimmerman,
Lois N. Rhodes, Kathryn N. Zimmerman, all of Bridgewater; Ann
N. Rhodes, Dayton; Lydia N.
Lehman, Fortuna, Mo.; and Rebecca N. Buchanan and Susanna N.
Martin, both of Lancaster, Pa.; a
child raised by his grandparents,
Anthony M. Zimmerman, Bridgewater; one brother, Aaron W. Nolt,
Ephrata, Pa.; 49 grandchildren
and 39 great-grandchildren.
Bishop Jacob Obenholtzer with
co-labor's present will conduct the
funeral at 10 a.m. Saturday at the
Riverdale Old Order Mennonite
Church. Burial will follow in the
church cemetery.
The body was taken to the home
of Dwight Rhodes, 7877 Triple
Farm Drive in Bridgewater, where
friends may call at any time.
Arrangements are by the McMullen Funeral Home'in Bridgewater.
