She was a great sister and aunt. She was loved very much and will be greatly missed by all her knew her.
She battled breast cancer since the summer of 2008.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband Norm, her parents Harold and Mildred Sweet of Woodburn, IN, sisters Pauline, Betty and Wanda, brothers Harold Jr., Jack, Terry, Larry and Dick.
Survived by sisters, Shirley Myers of Fort Wayne, IN and Phyllis (Phillip) Timbrook of Hicksville, OH; brother, Wayne (Martha) Sweet Hicksville, OH; several nieces and nephews; step-children, Tom (Kate) Walton of Au Gres, MI, Doug (Cyrie) Walton of Dayton, OH, Jody Bissell (Walton) of NC. And special family Dr.'s John and Mary Lou McGregor and their children Dan, Molly, Emma and Maddie and a special puppy named Abbey - where she was employed for 18 years.
Her passion was baking all sorts of delicious recipes and gardening in her yard growing beautiful flowers every year. Bonnie was a big Indiana Hoosier basketball fan and enjoyed watching them play, especially when they played against Ohio State and won the game. It just put a big smile on her face every time.
Friends may visit Saturday, June 23, 2012 from 11:30 a.m.-1:30 p.m. at the Garden Church, 38 W Greenwood Ave., Columbus, OH 43201, where a funeral service will follow at 1:30 p.m. Rev. Jeffrey Huff officiating. Interment Monday at 12Noon at the Lindenwood Cemetery in Fort Wayne, IN. Donations may be made to Breast Cancer Research in her memory. Arrangements by the SHAW-DAVIS FUNERAL HOMES.
