Graveside services were held for Mrs. Ira H. West Tuesday afternoon at the Gonzales Woodman cemetery following the services in Houston earlier in the day. Mrs. West, a longtime resident of the county, died at her home in Houston Sunday at 7 p.m.
The Rev. Roy May of the First Methodist church conducted the services at 4 p.m.
The body was brought to Gonzales by Seydler Funetal home, arriving here at 2 p.m. Tuesday prior to the graveside services.
Survivors include three children: two daughters, Rhena and Vernia, and a son, J. H. West, Jr., all of Houston.
Mazie Mitchell married Ira Hamilton West 29 Dec 1907 in Gonzales Texas. There children are as listed Rhena Frances West,Ira Hamilton Jr. West, Kermie West, Vernia West.
