Lou Ann Carter age 73 died April 27, 2013. A native of Franklin Co. Ms. Carter was the daughter of the late Harold and Ruby Bradley. Ms. Carter was the widow of the late A.T. Carter Jr. Ms. Carter was retired from UGA and was a seamstress. Ms. Carter was a member of New Franklin Christian Church. Ms. Carter is preceded in death by a sister Faith Ellington and a brother Roger Bradley.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday April 30, 2013 at New Franklin Christian Church at 11 a.m. Rev. Carl Beckham will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Survivors include daughter; Donna ( Billy ) Doolittle; sisters; Pauline (Willie) Jordan, Christine McGallian, Lynn Sanders, Shirley (Angel) Flores, and Sandra Burroughs; brother; Joe (Lulabell) Bradley; Grandchildren; Tiffany (Kyle) Nadeau and Brandon Doolittle; Great Grandchild; Kiley Nadeau.
Pallbearers will be Steven Garner, Lamar Patterson, Adam Patterson, Melvin Jordan, Wayne Jordan and Mark Keen.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Silverleaf of Athens.
The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. at the funeral home on Monday.
Lord and Stephens, Danielsville has charge of arrangements.
