September 5, 1958 – April 23, 2013
Mark Morrison – personal fitness trainer, influential hockey captain and coach, left winger known for his rocket slap shot, and the best dad a kid could ask for – passed away untimely on Tuesday, April 23.
Mark touched many different lives in many different ways; whether it be through the thirty-one years he spent with his high school sweetheart, his years of devotion to the skills development of young hockey players and father-like status to many of them growing up, his motivation he gave us in the gym that we didn't like too much at the time, or his tendency to over-tighten our skates (to the point of numbness) when we were too young to tie our own.
A private service will be held to honor and remember a great man – please contact McInnis and Holloway (403-243-8200) for further details. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
In living memory of Mark Morrison, a tree will be planted at Big Hill Springs Park Cochrane by McINNIS & HOLLOWAY FUNERAL HOMES, Chapel of the Bells, 2720 CENTRE STREET NORTH.
