Alex W. Sanner, aged 62 years, died in the Uniontown Hospital Saturday, November 3, 1945 at 4 p.m. Mr. Sanner was a farmer in North Union Township near Oliver. He was a member of the Third Presbyterian Church, John Knox Sunday School Class and Fort Necessity Lodge, I.O.O.F. 254, of Uniontown. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Margaret E. Sanner, and the following children: John F., of Williamsport; William R., Clyde J., Harold R., Mrs. Margaret E. Holland, all at home; Mrs. Violet Morgan of Belle Vernon; one grandchild, Carol Sanner, of Williamsport; one sister, Mrs. William Crossland, of W. National Pike; one brother, Walter Sanner, of Uniontown. Friends are being received in the late home where services will be held Tuesday, November 6, at 2 p.m. with Dr. Lorne H. Belden officiating. Interment in Sylvan Heights cemetery, under the direction of the A.D. Ferguson Funeral Home, Uniontown.
