Ms. Theresa Morrison, 65, of Bardstown, passed away Saturday, April 27, 2013 at Baptist Hospital East in Louisville. She was born September 2, 1947 in Owensboro, KY, was a Red Cross volunteer for Indo China and Vietnamese Refugees, where she was awarded the naval award in Guam, was a homemaker, and a member of the Catholic faith.
She was preceded in death by her ex-husband, John K. Morrison, Sr., her parents, Nicholas and Sue Helen Keller Wink, and a sister, Shirley Galloway.
She is survived by a son, John Morrison Jr. (Brandie) of Bardstown, a daughter, Tammy Lovely of Frankfort, 4 grandchildren, Tyler Morrison and Halli Morrison of Bardstown, Brooke Byers of Lexington, and Robert Kelty of Frankfort, 4 brothers, Ed Wink, Marvin Wink, Nick Wink, and Gene Wink, and 2 sisters, Mary Sue Elliot and Jeanette Hayden.
A Memorial Service will be Wednesday, May 1, 2013 at 7:30 pm at Clark and Houghlin Funeral Home. Visitation will be Wednesday from 5:00 pm until the time of service at the funeral home. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the American Cancer Society. Clark and Houghlin Funeral Home and Cremation Services is in charge of the arrangements.
