Johnny Ray Carter, 59, of Jefferson, Arkansas went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 25, 2013.
He was born and raised in Pine Bluff to Aubrey and Vlasta Rose Payonk Carter on January 9, 1954.
He graduated from Dollarway High School in 1972 and was employed with AT&T and was currently working in Risk Management. He was a highly accomplished individual and just recently received recognition for his 40 years of service.
He was of the Baptist faith and a member of the Central Arkansas Chapter-Harley Owners Group, NRA Endowment member and a member of S & H Hunting Club.
He was preceded in death by his father, Aubrey Carter; half-brother, Aubrey E. Carter; sister, Mary Annette Carter and grandparents, Joseph G. and Belle Carter.
