Grace M. Brown, 64 Washington St., Marblehead, died Saturday, September 14, in the Devereux Nursing Home. She was the widow of Alden M. Brown.
A lifelong resident of Marblehead, she was a life member of the Old North Church and a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Born in Marblehead, she was the daughter of the late Joseph F. and Lizzie B. (Sweet) Van Blarcom.
Surviving is a son, Lyle Brown of Salem; a daughter, Miss Eleanor E. Brown of Marblehead; 10 grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren. She was also the mother of the late A. Marshall Brown.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, September 17, at the Eustis and Cornell Funeral Home.
