BOOSE Stella Ollie (Bodette) Stella Ollie (Bodette) Boose, passed away at the age of 91, on Wednesday, September 14, 2011, in the Sunset Retirement Village, Sylvania, Ohio. Stella was born in Toledo, Ohio, on July 4, 1920. She was the daughter of Verne and Mary (Jones) Bodette. On May 23, 1942, she married Carl Joseph Boose and they had four children. They dedicated their lives to serving the Lord through their work at the Toledo Gospel Tabernacle, now the First Alliance Church, where they enjoyed the fellowship of many friends. Stella loved to cook for her family and friends and her delicious pies were requested at every gathering. She worked for several years at Kresge's in Westgate Shopping Center and later at the Kmart on Alexis Road in Toledo. For many years, she worked on election day and enjoyed talking with the people who came to vote. Stella was preceded in death by her husband, Carl; her daughter, Barbara; brothers, Roy, Ray, Richard; sisters, Mary, Blanche, Grace, Selma and Selia. She is survived by her daughters, Carol (Richard) Hanna, Pamela Boose, and son, Donald (Jennie) Boose and sisters, Alda and Ivadell. She also leaves nine grandchildren and seven great grand children. Visitation is from 1-7 p.m. on Sunday, September 18, 2011, in the Ansberg-West Funeral Home, 3000 Sylvania Ave., where funeral services will begin at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, September 19, 2011. Pastor Keith Sholl of First Alliance Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Toledo Memorial Park Cemetery.
