Wilma Jean Lee McCool, 87 of Fayetteville, AR passed away Friday, April 26, 2013 in Fayetteville.
She was born June 20, 1925 in Ozark, AR to Walter Standridge and Velma (Armstrong) Standridge.
She graduated from Ozark High school and married Eugene Lee. They moved to Fayetteville, AR in the 50's. She was a member of First Presbyterian Church and was a homemaker. She enjoyed cooking, sewing, bridge club, Jr. Civic League, volunteering for American Cancer Society and the Democratic Party.
She was preceded in death by Eugene in 1986. She married John McCool in 1993 and enjoyed many years at Butterfield Trail Village. John preceded her in death in 2012.
She is survived by two children; Robert "Bob" Lee of Farmington, AR, Cheri Kimbrough of Fayetteville, AR, five grandchildren; Brenda Bryant, Randy Lee, Cindy Kimbrough, Amanda Kimbrough, and Hannah Kimbrough, and two great grandchildren.
A private family graveside was held at Fairview Memorial Gardens.
Arrangements are under the direction of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home and Crematory of Fayetteville.
