Kimberly Dawn Lopez Rodriguez, 43, of Buhl formerly of Fort Hall, Idaho passed away Thursday, April 25, 2013 in Buhl following a courageous bout with cancer.

Kimberly was born in the early morning hours of May 18, 1969, the daughter of Dave K. Begay of Arizona and Zelberta Sequints Begay of Fort Hall, Idaho.

Kimberly is survived by her husband, Hector Lopez Rodriquez of Buhl; her children, Veronica, James M., and Zacarias A. Cavazos of Buhl; her mother, Zelberta of Fort Hall; brother Ira Begay of Fort Hall; sisters, Antionette (Kevin) Stock of Challis, Idaho, Damita (Loren) Monroe of Browning, Montana, Iris C. Begay (Kevin Ladue) of Browning, Montana, Loya (Carlos) Broncho, Sunflower Begay, and Wynter Begay all of Fort Hall; aunts, Arlene Whitehair, Helen Tishie of, and Elouise Dale all of Arizona; an uncle Stanley Tallsalt of California; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Kimberly was taken to the residence of Sunflower Begay on East Sheepskin Road at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, April 27. A prayer service will be held at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, April 29, 2013 at Hawker Funeral Home, 132 South Shilling Avenue in Blackfoot. Kimberly will then be taken back to the Begay residence until her traditional Native American burial at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2013 at the Mission Cemetery.
