William Crissman, 70, of Austintown, Ohio died Sunday morning, April 24, 2005 in Port Charlotte, Fla.

He was born June 30, 1934 in Kittanning to Ott and Emma (Brink) Crissman.

Mr. Crissman was a foreman for Easco Aluminum Extrusions Niles Plant for 40 years before retiring in 1994.

He was a former member of the Youngstown Baptist Church and more recently had attended the Ohltown United Methodist Church.

He enjoyed hunting and gardening.

Survivors include three sons, William Crissman and wife Dorrie of Toledo, Ohio, John Crissman of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio and Corby Crissman of Warren, Ohio; three daughters, Karen Crissman of Port Charlotte, Cindy Newsome and husband Everette of Austintown and Vickie Scott and husband Jim of Port Charlotte; 10 grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three brothers, David Crissman and Clarence Crissman, both of Templeton and Shelby Crissman of New Kensington; and five sisters, Jean Hutchinson of Kittanning, Alice Bish of Indiana, Shirley Smith of Butler, Joan Proffitt of Akron, Ohio and Nancy Ray of Poland, Ohio.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Virginia (Grates) Crissman, whom he married March 20, 1955 and who died July 7, 2004; and two brothers, Charles and James Crissman.

Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Lane Funeral Homes, Austintown Chapel, 5797 Mahoning Ave., Youngstown, Ohio where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday. Friends and family may send online condolences at www.lanefuneralhomes.com.
