KATHY MAE RICKETTS, daughter of Freddie and Alice (Black) Littleman, was born July 11, 1960 at Clinton, OK. She departed this life on Thursday, January 24, 2013 at Woodward Regional Hospital at the age of 52.
Kathy was raised and educated at Seiling where she attended Seiling School. She later received her GED. She was united in marriage to Floyd Daniel Ricketts, June 16, 1979 at the Mennonite Church in Seiling. To this marriage, one daughter, Beth Ann, was born. The family made their home in Seiling before moving to Woodward. Kathy worked as a homemaker for her family.
She is survived by her husband Danny Ricketts and her daughter Beth Ricketts of Woodward, five grandchildren, one sister, Naomi Partida of Seiling and two brothers, Robert One Bear of Lawrence, KS and Norman Littleman of Tulsa. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Elizabeth and Ruth Ann and two brothers, Milton Earl and Freddie.
A traditional wake service will be held at 7:00 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 27, 2013 with the funeral service at 1:30 p.m. Monday, Jan. 28, 2013 all at the Seiling-Fonda Community Center. Pastor Ricky Mercer will officiate. Cremation will follow with burial of the cremains in the Cantonment Cemetery under the direction of the Redinger Funeral Home.
