Elisha Brien married Ann Milner about 1805. After her death he married Sarah Johnson in 1818. He died of Cholera at his home near Alexandria. There is no marker.

Elisha and Ann Milner had two children whose burials have not been located: Paschal Winston Brien, Esq. (1809-1881) and Martha (Brien) Stewart/Stuart (c1816-1863) wife of Joseph.


Elisha and Sarah had four additional children whose graves are not located: James C Brien (1824-1888), a Baptist minister; Elisha Brien b. c. 1822; Ellen Brien, b. between 1821 and 1825; and Susan (Brien) Mack.
